Happy New Year! A warm welcome back. Hope you enjoyed the festive holidays.

As it is back to the daily grind for most; I too am getting back to NIC business.  I am preparing for the end of my term as NIC President.  NIC needs to fill executive positions and more board members are required.  

NIC rules state:
The board of the Club shall consist of President, Vice-President, Secretary,
Treasurer and at least 7 and no more than 15 other members.

Since September, NIC has been running with only a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and three board members.  The understaffed board has worked very hard for the club but cannot continue to do so at this level.  NIC cannot continue to function with so few board members. Since "many hands make light work" it is critical to operate within the NIC rules.

Please get involved with the board!  Help make NIC what you want it to be.  Enrich your life in Nanjing.  Even a small investment of time can be a very rewarding experience.  

If the size of the board has not increased by the end of February to meet the minimum requirements and the executive positions are not filled, then steps will be put in place to dissolve the club.
